While at UCSB, Mike led his volleyball team and nation, in digs that led to two 2nd place finishes in the 1974 & '75 NCAA Championships and a US Open Championship in 1974. He left UCSB early to start a very successful corporate design company that included such clients as Levis Straus, Fleetwood Mac, IVA Professional Volleyball League and the University of California Santa Barbara. In 1982, he started the seafood distribution company, Landshark, which exceeded $1 million is sales in its first year of operations. Mike has 27 years of volleyball coaching experience that includes NCAA Division 1, the AVP Professional Beach Tour and a youth league for children. |
